Move My Documents folder

How can I move the personal folder to another drive and still keep it acting as the My documents folder?

(ie when I click open from MS word, I can still use the personal button there to open the folder).

Maybe if you edit the registry : H_C_U\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ShellFolders and UserShellFolders Desktop

TweakUI is a neat little utility that can do this and more. You can download it from

http://www.downloads.com

or from Microsoft. It's written by MS engineers, but MS doesn't support it. The other option is digging in the registry.

Also, if you run TweakUI on NT, be aware that it can hose your icons. It's fixable, but just be aware that it might happen. See
