Hi,

I use outlook 2003, and I would like to create rules as the messages arrives, they would go directly to a folder.
How can I do that?

David

Click on "Tools", then "Rules and Alerts", then "New Rule". Hopefully you will know exactly what you want to filter on, ie sender, subject, etc. For example, if you want to filter on a specific subject, you would choose "Move messages with specific words in the subject to a folder" and choose "Next". Then, in the section marked "Step 2", click on "Specific words", type in the specific word(s) you want to filter, click on "Add", then choose "OK". Now, to move it to a specific folder, click on "specified" in the same section (marked "Step 2"), select the folder you wish to move the messages into and choose "OK". Click through "Next" until you get to the "Finish rule setup" screen, name the rule, and then choose "Finish". You're Done! HOpe this helps!
