MOVE large file space remain the same

Hello

I have filesystem that is 96% full .. I have move the file to another filesystem in same VG .. Also can not increase the space because the free space in the VG is zero .... Why didn't the space % decrease but remain at 96%

There is an open file descriptor for the file and it is referenced to the old filesystem. The fd has to be closed and then opened in its new location to be referenced there and your space in the old filesystem will increase.
