So we have been asked to move an IPOCC server from one IPO to another at a different location as the contact centre is moving.

Also we will need to upgrade from 9.1 to 10.1.2.3

I can find no documentation for moving an IPOCC server from one IPO to another, does anyone know if any exists??

The IP address will change so I assume I will need to re-host the licences.
Extension numbers ranges will change also

certificate on upgrade? We did not install the 9.1 IPOCC so I don't know if certs were used or not, but there is no mention of certificates in the upgrade notes from 9.1 to 10.1
I know that certificates only became mandatory in 10.0

Any advice appreciated!

Thanks!

Only thing you can't do is changing the hostname of the server, otherwise you just restore the backup to the new server and run the required steps for IP change as documented.

Hi Janni

We are physically moving the IPOCC server to the new site, rather than installing IPOCC on a new machine.

So I don't think we will need to restore a backup?

Cheers

In that case you just need to change the IP and create a certificate when you upgrade to 10.1.2.3.

But I wouldn't run encryption on the SIP user as IPO is really bad at handling TLS and SRTP.

Got it.

I am upgrading the IPOCC now but seems to have stalled at installing web user interface.
The whole upgrade has been running for well over 2 hours now.

Also the components Addressbook Server database and Unified Media Database are red rather than green...

Did you upgrade PostgreSQL before you upgraded IPOCC?

Yes I upgraded the Postgres.

The 2 elements failed as there was a db lock that was not closed automatically. The only session was pgadmin but there was another lock as well that I had to kill off in task manager. Upgrade worked after that and the watchdog reconfigured.

Hi Dear I have issue when I access Queue it's given error loading from database table Device view:
