I just moved my databases (.edb's and .stm's). If you go to the ESM help it walks you through it. Rather easy, though I've been burned before and held my breath throughout the whole process.
I believe this is what you're asking anyway.
I did a full backup before, and one after because it makes invalid the one you just did.
