I have IBM Content Manager(v7.3) installed on my AIX(v5.2) server and we use TSM to archive all images to an IBM 3995 Optical tape library after 3 years. We just purchase a SAN (NetApp) and I would like to move those images from Optical to NetApp ensuring that CM will know the location of those images once it is moved.

Any help will be appreciated

If the optical is a stgpool in tsm, then can you not just set the san stgpool up as next storage pool? Then set highmig=0 and lowmig=0 on the optical, which will move it all to the san. CM shouldn't need to care what storage pool the data is in, should it?
