Move Hostraid drives to new identical hardware

i have xserver 226 with 2 sata drives in a raid1 config on hostraid controller.
looks like the host raid has failed.
i have a second identical server setup with the exact same hardware config. 2 sata drives in raid 1 on hostraid controller.
assuming the first 2 drives are ok can i move them to the second server? will this allow me to boot from the first 2 drives but in the second server?

thanks in advance for any help
