Hi,
i use a x350 with the onboard scsi.
There i have 2 disks running as disk c: and disk d:under win2k3 without RAID feature.

Now i inserted a Serveraid 3h and more disks(now total of 6 disks)
I will use the date from the first 2 disks without losing the data on it. But i see only the possibility to destroy the data from the disks an create new logical disks and then move the date from elsewhere to the disks.

Is there a way to say: use that disk with the data and build a new logical disk without losing the data on it?

Many thanks for any idea.

best regards

I would Back everything up to tape. Create your RAIDs and restore. Do you have Tape and Backup Software?
