Move files from memory card

How would I move files using vbs ?

1. (memory card)
2. Copy all files
3. I want to use an inputbox to specify new destination directory name and create it.

Any ideas?

Do you really want to move all files from the memory card or all files and directories?

It wouldn't be a problem moving all files and directories but would the memory card work again if that was done? The memory cards I use have some directories that should not be moved/removed.

If there are files in different directories and you just move the files, how would you know which directories they came from? Do you just need to move files from one specific directory?

Basically I want to insert a memory card from my digital camera and use the script to move the photos to a new directory on my harddrive.

The new directory would get it's name from the vbs inputbox.

You're doing a "move" across devices. This is not really a move but a copy followed by a delete. Just have a look at the help on the FileSystemObject. It should have everything you need, browsing directories, copying files and deleteing files.
