We publish telephone book. Data resides in SQL database.
Structure of each page is predefined. What tool (programm) can we use to move data from database to pdf format file with predefined forms for each page ?

Microsoft Excel will retrieve an sql query for you. The Excel spreadsheet can contain macros that will format the data for you, including headers and footers. Then, user Acrobat to convert files to PDFs.

If you can get the structure to how you want it to look, print it to a postscript file and use distiller to make it into a pdf.
