Dear All,

Does anyone know how to delegate permissions to move computers between different OUs?

I’ve been trying to delegate this task to a group but to no avail. I’ve even granted the group full permissions on “this object and all child objects” for the OUs but it’s still not working.

I’d rather used a granular permissions that granting the group full control.

Many thanks.

Within Active Directory - View - Advanced Features.

Right click on the OU's and - properties - security - advanced.

I cant remember the exact permission but I know its possible within those tabs.

Adam,

Thanks for the reply.

However, that's the whole problem: what permissioins are required to move computers between OUs. Granting anyone Full perms, will tick all the available boxes under the Advanced menu. I did that, and it still doesn't work.

The group has been granted full control on OUs and child objects, but memebers are still unable to move computers between OUs.

Regards,

Michael
