move an extention

Hello,

I'm sure this is a dumb question but....

I need to move a person and there extention to a new location?

Depending on the system you have - it is as simple as unplugging their original location and p[lugging in their new location into the same module and port on the system (lines from wall jack at the location to the system). Of course, if the line jack inputs are not labelled - this becomes a bit more complex. You can also do it via extension programming - but changing the "mechanical" connections to me is simplest - and none of your existing programming has to be changed. I am assuming you want them to have the same extension number, etc.
