When it rains....I used the MOV command to move 2 phones - 3903 and 3904. All seems well in translations but now both phones have the same ext.
The 3904 replaced the 3903 at it's location and works as itself -201.
The 3903 comes up where the 3904 was and has retained the 3904's appearance - 201.
The old 3903 DN 228, is shown at the correct TN and idle.
?????
I tried unplugging, dsbl, enlu,....

I usually make sure to the customer that the phones to be changed, are not used during the "MOV" operation. If a phone is in use, then it's possible that extn relocation or corruption can occur.

It has other issues...I pulled the cross connect off of it's TN and it's still running. Tomorrow I'm going to tone it out. Wierd wiring around here to begin with! Still doesn't make sense as both phones were 2 separate DNs before i started and 1 has moved over as it should have.

if you pulled the jumper at the tn and didn't kill the station, you've got the wronge tn.. be sure to disu any tn before you do a mov.. and NEVER move a phone with acd features
