MOUSE will not move crosshairs....???? HELP I have no digitizer...

I have no digitizer and have a stanard two button serial mouse on COM1 and my config settings for using a Microsoft Mouse are not working, which should I use and how do I get it to work??? I can move it with the arrow keys on the keyboard but can't get the mouse to move the crosshairs,,,, any help greatly appreciated Keith Buchanan

I presume the mouse is working in Windows!?!

In ACAD, go to Tools->Options and in there go to the System tab, and make sure that "Current System Pointing Device" is selected in the pulldown menu on the left... Jay~

opps forgot to tell you this is in ACAD12 DOS version not windows... at the config command I look at digitizer and choose microsoft mouse but no luck.... i see cross hairs but can't move them at all???

If yo move the mouse, and then type REGEN and hit enter do they jump to a different possition?

Ive never come across this position before, especially as I have never used acad12! Jay~
