Mouse Wheel Won't Scroll with XP

I'm rolling out Windows XP and using Notes client 5.0.9.
The MS mouse wheel will not scroll up/down in Inbox, Sent, All Documents. If a email is open the wheel will scroll but will not when looking at messages received or sent. I downloaded the latest XP IntelliPoint drivers from MS and the wheel problem is only in Notes. Anybody run across this problem ?

Try downloading an older driver ... I use a Logitech-driver: 9.41.3 W
