mouse pointer becomes white block!! help!!

hi,
ive installed RHL 7 and now when I boot up the mouse pointer loads as a huge white block!! i have no clue whats happend. Anyone know what Im talkin about, got any suggestions?

hey,
im boot up in graphical mode. not text. anyone know whats wrong. if I reinstall linux its fine. Also, this happend after I modified XF86Config to adjust my video settings. Could that have anything to do with it?

This happened to me after I've installed RadHat 6.2, because I've tried to change configuration for video settings which install offered to me. I thought that these settings were wrong (they didn't match with tehnicals for video card and monitor). Then I tried to reinstall and accepted the offered setings and everything worked fine.
