Mouse movement madness!!

Suddenly for no apparent reason the mouse curser starts moving slowly and takes a long time to catch up with the movements that I ask it to do, leaving us little control, does anyone have any idea what the problem is?

What type of mouse is it?

Have a look in Control Panel/ Mouse and check your settings.

This thread might offer other clues too.

Mouse has mind of its own!

If this is a laptop and the mouse in question is a touchpad then it can be caused by a poor connection.

If this is the case, let me know. It may be an eay fix.
