I got ie5.5 with my isp software, new dsl user. mouse freezes sometimes; one possibility (can't figure out if it applies to me or not) is that browser can't calculate mouse movement on XML or XHTML pages. Microsoft wants us to call tech support and probably get charged for the call if that's not the problem. Do I just need to switch to Netscape and be done with it all? Or upgrade to IE6.0?? OR is there another fix? BTW, keyboard works fine during this, but even after I close IE, mouse won't unfreeze.

Hi,
This sounds more like an issue with either connection speed or a corrupted driver than the actual webpage code.
Just to troubleshoot further:
Does the mouse slow down on every page?
Does it slow down as soon as u open IE?
DOes it slow down on the same page every time?
Does it slow down in every other App?
