I've noticed that, when programming in VBA behind Access forms, the thumbwheel on the mouse doesn't scroll up or down. A person has to use the down arrow on the keyboard or use the vertical scroll bar to navigate up and down within form's the modules.

Anyone know if this is simply some option that can be set to allow the mouse thumbwheel to do the scrolling or is just the way it is with Access (2000) forms.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Forgot to add, while the article says it's the fix for Visual Basic 6.0 IDE the author of the fix, on his blog, says it'll work for all Office apps as well!

Thanks for your quick responses, guys.

missingling: I did download the file and unzipped it and executed it like the instructions on your link page stated, but VB6IDEMouseWheelAddin.dll doesn't show up in my 'Add-in Manager' dialogue box (Access 2000). When I attempt to add it, I get an 'unrecognized format...' error message.

Is there something different to do for VBA for Access 2000?

Thanks again for any assistance you can offer.

AceMan1: unfortunately, the pc's where I work are connected to a big LAN and are very tightly controlled. It would be no problem downloading a MS fix but am not able to load freeware software on the pc. The image on the disk is too tightly controlled.

Might have to wait until we upgrade to a higher version of Access. Thanks for your help.
