I am having problem with keyboard when typing it stops till I right click on mouse then I can resume. Also I cannot scroll with mouse till I do the same. How can I fix this?

Please post what the computer is, what the Operating System is, and what kind of mouse and keyboard you are using. Are they USB, PS/2, or AT/Serial?

?It is compaq presario 6200cl, the operating system is windows xp and the keyboard and mouse are ps/2

Does that problem happen whatever application you are using, or only in a specific application ?

Also, what are the specific components of the computer : the CPU brand and rating, how much RAM of what type (SDRAM, DDR, RDRAM), and what is the disk(s) and its (their) size.

Pascal.

I understand that there are applications that are stealing the focus but I need to know how to correct this. I did it once but forgot how I did it.

How clever are you with a soldering iron? The normal fix for this is to replace the motherboard. If under warranty, I suggest you let them Compaq service folks do so.

Or use USB devices.
