Mouse acts erratically.

A PC running Win98 on our network has an HP1100.
When the printer is hooked up to the PC the mouse acts erratically. As soon as I unhook the printer, the mouse works normally.
Any ideas?

Either look for a new driver for the printer or try re-installing the current driver to see if this fixes the issue.

What sort of mouse connection and what sort of printer connection? (PS2, USB, Parallel etc)

Could be some sort of hardware conflict...
