Does anyone out there have a solution for mounting Compaq Servers onto standard 19"W Relay Racks. We dont have the space for tradional server racks.

You're talking quite a bit of weight: 50 - 75lbs. I assume by relay racks you're meaning a two post rack. I would suggest two options:

1. Get a center mount shelf and just set the server on the shelf.

2. Mount the server flush with the front of the rack, and at the bottom, and make a floor support for the rear of the server.

Are you short on space in the width, height, or depth department? There are a lot of options out there.

Thanks for the input. Yes we are short in the width and depth of our equipment room, traditional server racks will not fit due to other equipment within the room.
I have contacted Chatsworth and they have shelves but I am not sure its what my client wants.

I am looking for other options to bring to the table.

What are your width and depth limits?

I'm also guessing we're talking some rackmount ProLiants?

Sorry about the delay, yes they would be proliant servers. Also some older type Compaqs. Is there a solution that would allow rolling out or sliding out of the units? i.e. movable shelving?
