Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knew how to set up downloads using Dreamweaver? I'd like people who visit my site to be able to download some .pdf manuals at about 1MB each but I haven't got a clue where to start in terms of mounting them etc. I've seen the same thing in loads of others sites, where you have a simple underlined link, right click on it and save target to the desktop or wherever. So I need to know where to store the manuals and how anyone can get access to them in the same way. I'd really appreciate any help anyone can provide! Thanks,

a.d.

Hi

I think I understand what you want. I don't use Dreamweaver but the HTML will be the same. You can put the files anywhere on your site just as long as you link to them like this:

<a href=&quot;download.pdf&quot; title=&quot;Right click to download the PDF file&quot;>Download.pdf</a>

This is a standard link - you just point to the file you want to download instead of a HTML file.
