mounting dos-formatted floppy

Hi.
I have a problem concerning floppy mounts. It seems Hp-Ux 10.02 can not mount dos-formatted floppies (?) but is there maybe a workaround? The error message is something like unrecognized fs type... can someone give me some hint?

I went around this problem a while ago and got nowhere... Now I just put the floppy in the PC in front of me and ftp the file(s) I need to the server.

The server's at the other end of the building anyway......

glad to hear... problem is my seemingly defect lan interface and the fact, that my linux os can't produce any filesystem, readable by HP-Ux. Strange!
