I am new to SCO Unix ans I am trying to mount a USB pen drive.

When I connect the pen drive I get the following message:
umass Attached: Corsair Flash Voyager, rev 2.0, usb_id 2

However I cannot see any extra device in the /dev folder

So I dont know what to mount

Any advice would be much appreciated
uname returns SCO_SV

man usb

Hope This Helps, PH.

try uname -v
if it is anything prior to 5.0.7 then i wouldnt hold out any hope.
man pages are your friend.....
you may need to run a mkdev script to configure it at least once.
device id's may be visible with a "hwconfig -h

I do not believe that Version 5.0.6 supports USB devices. You may have to upgrade to Version 5.0.7 or Version 6 to get the support.
