I don't know it this is possible with what i currently have so here it goes. I am testing a Lacie 7.5T drive array and have mounted it as a share off a server that currently has the Commvault agent installed on it. I can't backup a mounted share using the Windows Idata Agent so Is there other products available that I need to do this?

It should be possible to back up the array, but you may have to add it to the contents of the filesystem agent by using it's UNC Path - i.e. \\ServerName\ArrayShare

By default only volumes that are local to the client will be backed up if your subclient content is "/". So mapped drives and shares are not local, neither are cluster resources except to a virtual client installed into the cluster group.

As Psy053 says you will need to explicitly define the Lacie array as a UNC path or a drive letter in you subclient content to back it up. All the other vendors that I am aware of are consistant with regards to this.
