the server has an exported fs:
/users

the server has a mounted fs:
/users/MI_DWGS

the client has a mount point:
/users

would you expect the client to see files in /users/MI_DWGS????

absolutely not. UNIX doesn't allow such kind of mountings
u got to seperately mount MI_DWGS on ur client.

the reason UNIX doesn't allow could be :
when MI_DWGS would have been exported from a server, it could contain a access list. this access list has the clients which can access the file systems. now the client on which ur trying to mount /users may not be in the access list of MI_DWGS.
