Hi,

is there a way to mount a partition on a directory, making it visible and writable by all users?

As soon as I mount the partition /dev/hda5 on /mnt/data , the folder /mnt/data gets permissions rwxr-xr-x and is owned by the user that does the mount command.

Is there a way to mount a partition for everybody?

Change the options in /etc/fstab for general access for all users:

man fstab

I tryed before posting, but I didn't find anything that solved my problem...

or maybe I didn't get something..
