Mount a UNIX volume

how would I mount my UNIX account volumne so that I can work in one directory from Linux and UNIX?

don't exactly know. I am new to this. Is there a way I can find out? any command line commands?

If you don't know the unix fs type, can you at least give me the unix OS, aix, solaris???
