Hello,

please, is it possible to mount a partition or logical volume under HP-UX 10.20 in a directory '/test/log'?
That means the mount point can be at outside / deeper of '/'.
('/test/log' and log should be mounted partition or logical vloume)

Thank you for all responses

Lukas,

Yes -- you can mount partitions and logical volumes anywhere in the directory tree as far as I know. All of my logical volumes are mounted under /mnt with no problems.

Hi

You can mount any logical volume anywhere in your filesystem. Create your mount point and remember to edit your /etc/fstab file so that your filesystem is mounted at boot time.
