I´m trying to NFS mount a Lacie ethernet disc, but I´m getting nowhere.
I don´t know if I´m way off trying, but ping and ftp works, rlogin and telnet doesn´t.
is there someone on this forum who can help me out?

is this forum completely dead? no replies....

First of all, the filesystem on the ethernet disk must be exported. Then you can try to mount it to your system.
Check the export, then the easiest way to mount is to use the Desktop - Shared Resources - On a Remote Workstation
