Hi,

I am running a Windows 2003 SMB server, and I have two external hard drives attached to it. I'm running out of space on the first one. I don't want to reset up the backup program to switch back and forth between the two for backing up, so I was hoping I could some how mount a drive on the full one or the empty one and somehow combine the total space of them. Hopefully that makes sense. Let me know if you can help.

Have you tried creating a spanned volume? A Spanned volume can be created by using free spaces on multiple disks. Google for Spanned Volumes in Windows 2000/2003 to know more (if you haven't already!).

Hope this helps.
