motorola 120T & TrueSync

After installing Motorola 120T and TrueSync on laptop with Windows ME, the phone dials and immediately disconnects. Other modems work properly, dialing the same number.

Have updated latest TrueSync 3.1 and synchronized.

Any suggestions on how to enable the 120T to actually dial a phone number?
