Hi Everyone,

I'm really new to visual c++ and for a project i have to create a program to track a moving object on a static background. I need to use a static background motion detection algorythm to show differnces between frames.
see the following link:
Will this be possible in c++? Will i need any special librarys?

Any help that anyone can give me would be really great, i'm really struggling. Thanks for you time.

Jonathan.

It is possible. To my shame, I was talking 2 someone else in here about it, but got severely chastised as I was about to discuss what is considered commercial information.

We have a system that monitors a static scene with a human in it, and it can track movements to quite small (mm) deviations

Dont give up, and if the other person I was talking to reads this, sorry, I was severely warned not to discuss specifics :-/
