motion controlled noise or particles following a spline.

I need a way to create thousands of particles or noise that I can move along either a path or move within a mask. The goal is to simulate blood circulation but the entire body will be in view, so the particles(blood) will be very small. I want to be able to control its speed and direction and concentration of particles. I have AE pro 6.5 in case someone wonders what effects I have available.

It seems like this is an effect I see using Motion all the time. Just wondered if AE had something similar to use.

I created a preset for this using TRAPCODE PARTICULAR. It will be free for download soon at the TRAPCODE SITE.

Similarly, you can use Particle Playground, but that is just a 2D solution.
