Motion Blur Error

I use an ICE'd AE 4.1 on a G4. Sometimes if I have the Motion Blur button depressed, my screen will pixelize and become unuseable. If I turn off only those layers with Motion Blur, I still get that digital breakup. Anyone experience this before?
