I'm a complete newbie to the X windows environment. I could use a hand... how would I go about making a GUI application run without the GUI?... that is.. Having it process all the background stuff that would normally run... but the GUI Would not be displayed....? is there a way to do this? If anyone has any links or knows how to do this could you explain it to me. I would greatly appreciate it
