Motherboards available in market for 3.0 Ghz with HT technology. 1

Hi.. I am new to this forum and I do not know if anyone can help me with my issue. My motherboard is Asus P5RD1-VM motherboard which was launched 4 years back. My processor is Intel 3.0 Ghz with HT technology, which is also 4 years old. Now, my motherboard, which supports only ddr1 ram, has gone bad. I would like to know if there are Motherboards available in Market for my processor.
My processor is a pinless processor, so I think that it should work with latest Motherboards also. I have searched for the same Motherboard, but it is not available in Market.
It will be helpful, if anyone will be able to tell me the models that are available for my processor.

Your processor is a socket LGA775. "3.0 w/ HT technology" sounds like a Pentium 4, which does not necessarily mean it can support modern Core 2 Duo CPUs which also share the LGA775 socket but need compatible electronics on the motherboard to be able to work.

We see the most powerful CPU offered is the Pentium D, which is a decent (if warm) CPU. It also says it can handle "Intel® 05B/05A and 04B/04A processors" so maybe some research will offer more options. Best of luck.

Don't know where you are in the world but I've come up with these in the UK....all will work....you will need to re-install your operating system as these have different chipsets.

Many of the later socket 775 boards will support your older Pentium4 but you will need to purchase DDRII ram as well.
The ones I've quoted will all work with your older DDR memory type.
