I've just upgraded to an Asus A7V333 motherboard and have just installed the PC Probe software which tells me all the vital statistics about the motherboard and processor.

Now, the problem is that it is telling me that its +12 Volt voltage is too high. It reports that the current voltage is 13.3 volts -> Is this going to do damage, and if so how can I lower it?

Thanks

I should first check it out with a manual volt meter and if it is indeed 13.3 volts it would seem to be too high!
Asus are probably the only people in a position of telling you if this is TOO high for the board but my reaction would be to swop it under warranty and not take the chance longterm. Martin Just trying to help, sometimes falling short, I am only human after all.

I'd definatly check with a voltmeter. that asus prob is a piece of %^&(

My !@# $%^& &*()_+! A7M266-D was registering around 15V but always a nice constant 12 when I checked with my voltmeter. same with the temp for the processors. Went crazy trying to bring down the temp from 51 celcius under full load. Checked with a infared thermal probe and it was a nice cool 40...

Don't know if it's the probe or the board that is FUBAR, but I'm going to stay away from ASUS in the futur...
