MOTHER BOARD MODEL & MANUFACTURER

I have a custom made lap top with no brand name for it.
Is it possible to get its motherboard model and number without opening it? So that I can down load its drivers or Ristore Files by going to its site?

I have lost the sound in that lab top, this is the only way seem possible toput the sound back.

Try downloading Belarc Advisor, it should tell you everything you need to know.

Alternatively you could go into Device Manager and look fopr your soundcard if its installed it will have the make and model.
