I have a number of sites (team sites) that have been setup under the site
directory as department sites. Each site has unique permissions with
owner/member/visitor groups.
The owner group has 'Full Control' yet the users in the owner groups cannot
create sites beneather their owned site, they get a permission denied/request
access message.
I cannot for the life of me fathom why. If I add them to the Manage
Heirarchy or Design group at the top level site then they can create subsites
but they also then have undesirable access over the top site!
Has anyone else experienced this? Am I doing something wrong here?
