Our customer reach the moment of having more than five years of fiscal periods, now they want to run the closing of the year.

They get this message saying they will loose the oldest period which is 2004. We tried to increase the number from 5 to 6 years but it wouldn't allow it.

is there any work around for this? they have accpac 5.3

best regards

They must be on 200 series, this only allows 5 years of history in the GL. You can upgrade to the 500 series which allows 99 years, or copy the data into another company to retain the years that will be lost in the year end.

You can also upgrade to 5.5 which will allow 7 years on the 100, and 200 versions.
