From the original Symantec post:
It moves all the files in the "All Users" folder to a temporary location and hides files in the "Current User" folder. This makes it look like you have lost all the files on your desktop.

A quick search will find anything you need—after you run an up-to-date antivirus scan to delete the Trojan of course.
I've seen a few users giving these symptoms over the last week or so.


If users would just learn to use TaskMan to kill the browser when these things try to embed themselves, that or use FX with NoScript.
 
You can use another NoScript on Google Chrome as well - works different, as far as interface, but same effect... basically. It doesn't seem to be as detailed, but is much easier to change settings, I think.
