We have a modem pool: 3 for toll free and 5 for local dial-up. We are running win2k server. When I dial in on a win2k client machine using the 1-800 number it authenticates and connects. But when I use the local number, the authentication begins but never connects. Why is this? What setting am I overlooking? It is set for DHCP when dialing in.
