Hello,

I have to problems with my recent installation of NT TSE 4 sp6 + postfixes and Metaframe 1.8 + Sp3 + hotfix.

It first started like this: from my station, I was BSODing the server each time I connected to it in Word 2000. I have a W2K en client. But, using the same account, had no problem connecting from any other stations (W2K or not). I changed my default printer on my station from my HP6P to my HP4 and didn't get the problem. The server queue for this printer is on a W2K station, and almost all other on my NT4 server, I don't know if this is related. But as soon as I try to print to the HP6P, I bsod the server again.

2nd problem, when a W2K workstation (canadian french keyboard mapping) logs in to the Citrix server, they are unable to use their space, backspace and return keys! I just found out that I can force a mapping in the PN client (6.30.1050 btw) so that should that care of that problem, but any idea why this is happening?

Thanks!

As regards problem 1, this is probably a driver incompatibilty or mapping issue.

Are you sure the driver is a "Terminal Services aware" driver, ie was it installed from the Windows 2000 installation disk?

If not, try mapping it via wtsuprn.inf.

For the second issue, if I read you correctly, the ICA client (PN) must have a mapping for the local keyboard in order for it to work on the server, if the server is in a different language.

I hope this helps CitrixEngineer@yahoo.co.uk
