MS Exchange on Windows NT SBS 4.5
WAS running fine.

I removed a distribution list from SBS Console.

Now office email is fine.
SMTP outbound email is fine.

HOWEVER The Exchange Server receives inbound mail, but does not forward it to Outlook. The mail is eventually bounced.

I did reinstall Outlook and restart the server...but I cannot
figure out the error. [sig][/sig]

I have ran into this twice. Once I simply applied SP3 to Exch, and it worked. The second time, I had to run eseutil to fix my DB's and it resumed forwarding inbound mail.

Good Luck with this information

The problem actually had nothing to do
with the distribution list.

It seems my inbound mail server behaves
flakey if I use mail.abelson.com (works,
then doesn't). I use THEIR domain name,
however, everything works fine.

Thanks for the input.
