we are thinking about upgrading our 61C to Succession 3.0 and are being told, "off the record", by the Nortel rep that one of the perks of this upgrade will be that Companion handsets can be added simply as digital sets WITHOUT credits. Anyone else heard this?

that would be great except they are manufacturer disc and all that are left would be refurbs and there would be no tech support from itas

I know and that's not a problem as we have more unregistered handsets then we'll ever need....will this work?
