month-to-date day counter 2

I'm currently using Crystal Reports version 8.5. In my report I have a date value that I would like to determine its month-to-date (business) day counter.

For example, if the date value returned is February 9th then my counter would give me 7, the 7th business day for February.

I realize that holidays will be a factor. This is not an issue here.

Can someone please offer me a suggestion/hint/tip?
