I have to put in the columns in a cross tab the months names; if I write the formula
@month name:monthname({@monthdep}),
months appear in alphabetic order which I don’t want.
Any idea much appreciated.

I have in formula @monthdep: month({table.DepDate})

You can then select the group options in crosstab expert and you will probably have to specify the order and then sort this in the specified order section. i.e. select January from the named Group Option and then Feb etc etc.
Hope this helps, let me know if all ok

Thanks,

Annette

You should use the formula {@monthdep} for your column field and then click on group options->options tab->customize group name->use a formula->x+2:

monthname(month({table.DepDate}))

This will allow the columns to be sorted by monthnumber, but displayed by name.
