Month Format

I have a query that is using the Month Format to summarize sales by month. I use the following in my query:

testmonth: Month([Detailed Effective Date1])

This works fine in giving me the number of the month. How can I convert the number into the actual month name? I have tried to use the format function and also just enter "mmmm" in the format property of the field.

Strangely enough, when I have done this, it has made my "testMonth" field results one December and changes all the rest to "January"

Create a table that contains the following:
MonthID Name
01 January
02 February


ect.

There is also a MonthName function in Acc2K which returns the full name of the month corresponding to a number (1-12)
